Good afternoon all. Started out at 13 and last I looked was up to 30 and heading to 37. No wind that I can tell and clear blue skies. Chaz is working on his ham radio antenna. Friend stopped over to help him. He has been having fun with it. He talked to someone in Hawaii the other night. This morning he listened to a conversation between two people and one is from just outside of Oklahoma city and the other one I believe was either Sweden or Switzerland. Have a great day all.

Not yet. It is scheduled for September. Hope we can still go...

 

Our church services have been changed a bit. We no longer gather together as usual. Our Pastor and organist will put on line a service complete with confession, absolution, hymns, sermon and prayers. 50 years ago we couldn't have done that. It is great being in the Word even tho we can't be physically together.

 

Yes sir. I watched our online services this morning while at work.

Good morning all! Happy Monday to you! No lockdown for this guy! As of right now, my job falls under the exemption of 'essential'.

There's a lot of talk that governor Wolf is gonna crack down on businesses that didnt close down. We will see. I'm ready for 'normal' life to return but I'm wondering if the definition of 'normal' will just change....

Good morning everyone. Slept in a bit. Woke up to snow on the ground, but it may hit 50f this afternoon with sunshine.

 

Good morning everyone! My days are taking on a certain sameness... I'm not bored yet, just very relaxed, until I look at the news. My son texted yesterday to say that he was having some GI symptoms, we hope of course that it's not the virus. I haven't had my grandson here for a few weeks. Miss him!
I've been splitting some wood everyday, presently working on mulberry from the dump. My one outing most days is the dump. So far I've been finding good wood every now and then.
Tomorrow I'll go to senior hour at the grocery store, woo hoo!
I'm being careful, but my husband is still going into work. His company is very non-essential, so if the state closes things he'll be working at home, if not sooner.
Be careful out there, everyone!

 

Hope that senior hour at grocery store goes better than what they had go on around here. Local grocery store had senior hour starting at 6 am the other day and by the time they opened the doors there were 100+ waiting to get in. They said getting in not the issue but it was getting checked out after shopping. People pushing and shoving and right on top of each other not even close to 6 feet as they are recommending ; crazy.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. I'm off today, shift change. Going to get and started. We are making the 100 mile trip back to Cordele to return that $$$ tailgate assembly for the dump trailer. Our son said the Wal-Mart didn't have hardly any meat. There is a meat packing company about 30 miles from home, we are making a slight detour by there on the way home. May rain again, had 1/2" yesterday. Guy is coming to get a load of wood this afternoon, and another hunting camp wants us to do some tractor work....
We are being careful.

Our God,

Your Word says that You answer people when they call on Your name, and that You deliver them.

Right now, we ask that You would heal those who are sick or who are carrying the COVID-19 virus without knowing it. Heal them and protect those around them.

Provide a cure for the Coronavirus and heal our economy. Bring a quick and miraculous end to the darkness in our world.

Whether Your healing comes today, next week, or next month, we believe that You will heal our world. And we will continue to praise You, even as we wait for answers. Please deliver us.

We got about 2in of snow, then rain. Looks like a covering of slush outside. Temps into the 40's later should melt it all.

No wooding today. Catching up on other stuff.
