Our power was out for over 7 hours yesterday and they finally reported there were trees down. Must have been a bunch to take that long to fix.

31outside and 74 inside. Hackberry burning. My little boy is scared of the honey locust thorns! I don’t much like them myself! 787ED70F-C342-4A27-8F32-B4BC99BC96BE.jpeg

    31ºF outside, 74ºF inside,
    Red maple
Was a mostly sunny but chilly day but it would cloud up a little now and then. Possible low of 27ºF tonight.
Forecast temps for tomorrow (and rain) will probably be burning all day tomorrow.

I don't think I'd want to trip and fall on that.

Its 38 here and I refired the stove Friday night. I thought I was done for the year and left my outside stacks of ash uncovered and they got rained on. I had to get my wood from the shed and all I had was oak and hickory , I hate to burn the good stuff when its this warm but ots all I can do.

Presently 36 outside and 72 inside.
Was running out of good wood I thought. Found a 1/2 cord of Black Locus and Apple I thought was cut last summer. Must have been cut summer 2018. This stuff burns great with a lot of heat. Problem is, I don't need the super heat right now. Maybe dig out some of last falls Ash.

5°F last night, hit 32°F today and back down to 15°F overnight with snow moving in tomorrow. First fires back to back in about a week and a half.

Woke up to a couple inches of snow this morning. Yesterday they said it would be partly sunny today but now they say all clouds. Sun would melt this stuff off quickly. Maybe tomorrow.
