billb3, my brother-in-law owned her until this year. He purchased the white GMC Brigadier and sold the Chevy to my Father-in-law.

The Wood Wolverine, the splitter in that unit is a beast. The most impressive part is the fast return all while I was also advancing a log, the conveyor is running, and the deck can be advanced. All I can figure is it must be a hell of a pump! I wish that I'd grabbed a part #, just for research.

Shawn T. , Buckingham County. How about you?

Eric VW , thank you. We go at such a horrid pace during this that I almost feel guilty stopping for photo documentation. ALMOST...

OAKley Dokley , I think that is version 3 of the carryall. In the case of last weekend, I needed it for gear (maul, chains, cant hook, saws, etc.) and also the counter weight. And last year's split-a-geddon was in the rain. It was nice to only have a shower this year.

buZZsaw BRAD , thanks Brad. I had considered putting it out there. But, it seems to always end up being a floating thing we are trying to do. Trying to nail down the rental. And then, BAM, the machine is here. Everyone drop everything and get-r-done. Then it is like the Thundercats symbol is in the sky and all the wood hoarders eyes glaze over. Make sense? It doesn't to me either... lol

Great job on getting it done, yep, you are still in DIXIE...those machines will put out the wood. Sadly, no one around me close rents a machine like that.

Wow. That's awesome! Hadn't looked at your profile, so i figured this was up north...has no idea there would be a processor available for rental anywhere in the larger area. Where did you rent it from, and if you don't mind, approx how much does it cost to rent?

T.Jeff Veal , that sounds like a great business opportunity for you!

Eckie , Here is a link to the site that lists the places. The costs vary a lot depending on length of time. Rent a Firewood Processor from DYNA Rentals
