    Yes he was very happy. I saw him two years ago for the same thing.

    Sorry for the gross pics. Just wanted to remind everyone to check on mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers. They can tend to be stubborn and private and don't always admit they need help, even whom it seems blatantly obvious. Help them anyways.

    I'm trying to wash my eyes out now with some gravel... ;) I'm pretty sure it's why I wasn't a doctor. Don't know how you folks do what you gotta do sometimes. Bet the old fella was very happy afterward.

    I'm still in my Podiatry practice part time Dennis, 3 days a week. I'm working the new job with the Catholic Hospice 2 days a week. I was supposed to go full time with the new job July 1st but my full time start date has been pushed back to the fall or winter. One day at a time I guess, I don't mind doing both. Some of my patients are literally begging me to stay in practice. Several of my elderly patients that I've been seeing for 20 years now cried when I told them I was changing professions. Its good to feel needed/wanted ....

    Surgical grade stainless steel nail cutters. Miltex from Germany are top of the line, about $160 a pair now, and that's what I use, plus a Dremel with a surgical grade diamond bit.

    Will that heal to normal nails?

    About 10 years ago I had a truck axle fall on my left foot and it crushed/exploded my big toe, (breaking it in 5 pieces). The nail has never grown back normal. It's brittle and really thick.

    I had 2 fingers smashed badly in a door the fingernails were broken up so bad the doctor said they would never grow back right so he pulled them out.
    That was cool to watch, finger nails have long roots to

    Unfortunately, no, not in this life, not when they're that extreme. But the goal is pain relief, not cosmetic improvement. He can wear shoes again so he's happy.
