Caffeine going in. Slept in until 7 today. :emb: Must of needed it. Almost time to eat some breakfast. Then get the wheeler and wagon out and move all that firewood if it’s not raining yet. Oh chit. Looks like it’s starting now.

We got a coating of snow overnight. Not a problem, but a reminder winter may not be done with us just yet.

Just above freezing this morning so I think we must have a cloud cover. Four more days of work, I think, and then Spring Break for me. I think our province will be making an announcement about schools today. We did a bit of extra shopping last night to get the necessities. Beans, carrots, potatoes, apples and oranges. Our one and only grocery store, IGA, is opening on Wed. and Frid. at 7:00 AM for an hour for just seniors and mobility challenged people so they have a quiet store and not be in long line ups. There are a lot of seniors in our town though. We like to shop at 7:00 PM as the store isn't as busy then.

Same here as most supermarkets are making it easier for seniors to shop in less crowded conditions. The 24 hour market is now closed overnight to disinfect. Stay safe, WW.

I just remembered that I have to go to the elementary school this morning to get work things for one kid, then bring the other to the high school a few hours later.

Decided to go for a long walk through the woods this morning. Rain. Oh well. Put my awesome Muck boots on, the appropriate layers, and off I went. Always makes me real better to get out walking through the woods. Trails are wet, but manageable. Really making some good progress over the last couple years on them. Over the next year, when things are dry, I will finish one more long loop through the Western side of the back of the property. And improve low spots in existing trails. Can’t wait until things dry out so I can get to work on them again.

Still a good bit of traffic on the roads today. I had to take a drive just to get out of the house for a while. People still out needing to do the many different things we all need to do to keep life going.

I’m thinking about getting a few young bucks together soon to get some labor done. I need a bunch of rocks, roots, sticks picked up in one large area I cleared. If I can get enough of them they should be able to get it done in 4-6 hours. There are enough of them off from school. And they can stay away from each other while they work. We will see how the search goes. I have some long work days ahead. Looks like rain Friday. Prolly be to wet to do this weekend. :sherlock:

Gasifier I have found the perfect way to accomplish that, is to have a very beautiful teenage daughter and her friends here. The boys just seem to show up:eek:

My daughter swings a bat pretty good. Most of the boys have always been scared of her. Win win.

I have noticed that the whole site has been slower with postings for the last couple of months but the weekends always increase in postings.
