Well, looks like jrider and I will be doing the march to an unbelievable amount of wood. I Just told my daughter she cant party, shop or go hang with all her friends. Looks like you can learn to help with firewood or entertain your little brother. She said ahh Kamo and I are going to be best friends.
I already told my kids, see that big pile of wood over there...... while your off from school for two weeks your moving it into the wood shed
It’s probably going to be longer than two weeks. In Ohio the governor closed the schools and said they’re probably done for the school year. Closed the restaurants and bars last night for “as long as it takes”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I really hope not but our schools left this closure open ended indicating it could be longer. Crazy times!
Our schools are closed at the county level with a return date set for April 20. Lots of indication it will be longer and potentially be the rest of the school year. We have to “swipe in” at 7:05 and swipe out at 2:45 and be available when our classes meet. Lots more free time than usual but this isn’t going to be any vacation
I don’t think it’ll be DeWine, and I don’t think it’ll quite be Marshall law, but I think a national quarantine of some sort is coming. We’ll see. I’m in commercial cleaning, so this is effecting me and my staff directly, but judging from what we’ve seen the last two weekends, unfortunately ppl don’t know enough to not go out on their own. Gov. declared all MA schools closed for 3 weeks starting tomorrow. Some districts like Boston pulic have already stated closed until end of April. So about 6 weeks. No MCAS tests this year.
Yea, youll be making lots of copies when the entire nations computers crash from all the you tube being watched. Im facilities maintenance, janitor and grounds keeper. Just me so im probably going to paint the entire school And get summer work done early
Kimberly I'm not sure you understand how contagious this is. Have you seen Italy? It's a necessity, I totally support it. Call me an idiot, been called worse. This is not the flu. The modern world has never witnessed anything like this. Therefore the reaction to extreme measures is idiocy?
If you do the math, and they’re correct about the speed of transmission 20-30x more than flu and severity 2-3x deadly, we could be looking at 1-2m dead before it’s over. Yes, most of us wouldn’t get more then cold symptoms, but there’s 10’s of millions more vulnerable. Yes, shutdowns are going to wreck the economy, but this would do it anyway. If we can shorten it and save lives that’s worth more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So some think the closing of schools is bad. Boy, according to the Michigan news I saw this morning, the crap has really hit the fan for the masses.
The CDC has now issued guidelines of no public gatherings of more than 50 people, for the next 8 weeks.
So help us to understand exactly what this is truly about? Edited by Moderating- Sorry to leave you your post without an attached quote. Level headed Americans know what this is about- stopping the spread of a voracious virus, not it’s origin.
Our kids will be fine, staff is going above and beyond for blizzard packs. Our chef is even making and delivering meals to kids homes. The one thing teachers are saying their upset about is they cant teach and they miss their kids.
