New sawmill sign

    I finally got my new sign finished big honey locust with black locust posts I just have to finish peeling bark off the posts only took a year to finally get it finished letters are all cut in with a router I have to make final adjustment to chains to make it hang a little more level DSCN0325.JPG

    I could take some nice pictures of rocks I dug the electric ditch to bury the electric to my house the rock wall behind my sawmill shed is from @25 ft of ditch just to bury the electric the hill has a deposit of grey stone that is some really hard rock does a number on stump grinder teeth ,auger teeth and last but not least mower blades I usually do not sharpen them just scrap them the upper sign post is only 2 ft in the ground I had to put concrete around it it is sitting on a solid rock that when we graded that area we could not move it is about 8 ft in diameter the pole light electric ditch I dug with a single tooth ripper on my excavator and i pulled up a lot of beach ball size rocks just digging that JB

    Very nice sign! Great job! and yeah, agree, a few rocks piled under it will be the icing on the cake!
