40 and sunny here, 85 in the greenhouse :smoke: 72 in the house, no reload this morning but we’ll need it tonight with lows in the teens. Good sugaring weather some days but a little too warm overall I fear. Wood piles going down really slow...

Still going to wintery here this week, but not too bad.

This picture was taken Saturday. Still 33" of ice (we were on Devil's Lake ND).

65f or so in the house, burning propane kept the hole ice free.

27 this morning. Nice and mild once again!

Still can't figure out the below zero temps we had yesterday morning.....just an isolated shot and we were the lucky recipients?

Down in the teens overnight. Good thing is the forecast has changed a lot for this week and even one day of 61 forecast! I can take that.

Slowly getting milder here; daytime temps are staying higher for longer and the main living space benefits from some solar gain so only small fires needed in the evening.

Done burning around the clock. Relight coals after work and using some old ash from a tree top and the remainder of my small stuff. Top off before bed and I'am all set.
At most this winter I've used 2 cord and now saving the primo stuff for next season.

I’ve hardly got any soft wood left as it’s been so mild. Heating oil has been cheaper than it’s been in two years so I have been using the oil more to save some of the oak and beech I have.

36ºF and they've changed the forecast to snow changing to rain. Snowing currently. Cold must be persistent/entrenched because the forecast temp for today is now about 10 degrees lower and now to be about the same temp as yesterday, just wet instead of mostly sunny.
Burned red maple all day yesterday and maybe all day today again too. Got an early start this AM.
Into some maple that was a bit spalted and not the hardest red maple in the world. Gotta load the stove a little more often.
HHO is down to $1.59 and still dropping but still like the wood stove heat when it is cold out. and raining/damp too.

    Did not freeze overnight.

We're loving the price of gas now. I remember at least a year ago I said we'd never see gas below $2.00 per gallon again. However, it just does not seem to bother me that I'm wrong on some things! btw, it is down to 1.859 locally and I've heard of lower prices around. Maybe with more people staying home it will stay down for a while.
