No snow to shovel here, thankfully. Temperature at 36 with some strong wind. Good day for sailing, if you are into that sort of thing.
Plow came by twice this morning and then the sanding truck. This afternoon we got some sunshine and due to the higher angle of the sun, its doing a fine job on melting the snow cover on the roads!
It was up to 44°F - 6.7°C on Wednesday, now it's 0°F - -18°C tonight. The yard's like a bad skating rink with all the thawing and freezing. Some not so great DED elm in the old Enterprize cookstove.
30 this morning. Just pulled some White Ash out of the stack in the basement and filled chamber in the Wood Gun about 1/2 way. Supposed to be a high of 43 or so today. Not bad. We are slowly getting there.
Got new fire going with ash. We survived the big blow with no problems. Wind is calm right now. 25 outside, 73 inside.
31, got a dusting of snow overnight. Ash and locust to get the day started. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
28* outside. Chilly 67* inside. Ash is taking care of that. I'm debating bringing more wood in. Roller coaster weather this week. I could certainly use the exercise.
22 this morning and the ground is white but now starting to melt. Judy wanted me to tell you that you can hog all that below zero weather; she doesn't want any.
We have a clear crisp morning of -23c/-9.4f. Lodgepole pine warming the house back up currently. Im heading out ice fishing shortly and then a long 13 hour drive to get my daughter from the university of Victoria BC. They are cancelling all classes and going to a distance learning platform. Not sure yet what they are doing about exams. Weather should be nice and sunny for the trip across the province.
