Coronavirus - New level of Hysteria

No, the majority of people are stupid; they are easily manipulated because they are stupid. When you are educated you don't run out and buy up all the cleaning supplies and toilet paper and you don't keep asking when every American will be able to get a test. Getting tested when you are not sick just means that test kits will be used up that don't need to be used. Yet, sure as anything all the stupid people will be running out to get a test and the end result is wasted money; money that comes out of me and you and everyone else that pays taxes.

 

Don't be part of the problem and get educated yourself then.

 

Here is a prime example, people running to the doctor when they have a cold demanding they be given something and the end result is that we now have bacteria that are resistant to the commonly used anti-bacterial medicines. Smart people, educated people, people that aren't stupid, know that there is nothing you can take to get rid of the cold.

 

We can go back and forth all day, I put up my expert, you put up your expert, then I counter with my expert, and then you counter with your expert. I see this stupidity on all the major cable talking shows; they aren't news shows, just talking point shows. No thank you, I will decline.

 

Wash your hands, don't pick your nose and you will be OK. If you are older in age or have health issues; then worry about contact. We don't need to shut everything down, unless you are wanting to use it for political advantage; say tanking the economy so you can blame it on the sitting opposition party in the White House. That is really what it is all about. Supposedly in 2918 flu season 80,000 people died from the flu.

 

What don't you seem to understand about asymptomatic infectious diseases?

 

898 years in the future! I wonder what the earth’s population would be? 80,000 will probably be a very small percentage!

They just can’t agree on how.

 

Engineer, carpenter, scientist, R & D, cleaner, software/computer expert, child nanny, welder, horticulturalist, mathematician, now add political analyst and contagious disease expert., but still finds the English language challenging? All this while sitting at home trying to figure out how to get parts shipped by someone else?

They couldn't impeach him so now they are using COV 19 to create illusion of america becoming a 3rd world country. 401K shrinking rapidly. Anything to make sure we vote him out. I hate being played and that is whats happening.

There’s a bunch of different way to spin this situation into a conspiracy theory and I’m not a buyer of any of them. If anyone can think back to 9/11 and the 3-4 months of 24hr non stop news coverage afterwards. They (president/congress/senate/networks) agreed it was in the countries best interest to stop the non stop coverage and get back to life and normal programming.
Today , compared to then ,on top of the 24 hr news networks we have many social media outlets with friends we’ve never even met other than online and worldwide even . Texting, emails ,Instagram , Twitter , etc. we are connected at the pocket 24hrs a day. And connected to not necessarily correct info = rapid spread of fear.
I think in a few weeks this will either die out or if the hype continues without warranted rapid spread “they” will decide again it’s not in the best interest of the country to continue the coverage and thing will slowly go away .
