Guy on FBM had a wheelbarrow listed. Two times in the ad he said $50. Had the cash and met him at the designated time, handed him the cash and he askes about the rest of it. Said he would throw it in the dump before taking $5o and wanted $80. Showed him his ad and he did not care, so got my money back and hope he sits on that stupid thing for the rest of his lift. Found a nicer one, same brand for $60 a week later.
That's no lie, wasted my time and his. Just looked and it is still listed and I looked at it about a month ago. Also, should learn to slow down and proofread before posting. I see I typed lift instead of life.
I didn’t get the impression that he was insinuating all the saws for $500. I’m guessing he didn’t know what to list as the price since he had multiple saws. I would have preferred some prices and pics in the listing, but I felt that $1500 for a 461, 362, and HT 131 was a fair price, that’s why I posted it if anybody was interested.
That's a better deal than some I see on local Craigslist here. 500-700 for whipped on 660s, and always got a couple Mac 610s and homelite xl for 200 ish. Not downing any of the above saws, but people ask too much and often get offended when offered less
