Another nice moonlit night. Lots of light outside thanks to that moon reflecting off all the snow.

Pouring rain here this morning. Slept in as I had a late meeting last night. We had two gorgeous days of sunshine and now back to the regularly scheduled spring weather.

Daughters boy friend drops her off after school. He’s in auto tech.. OK. He tells me he pulled the oil pan off at four wheeler and there was water in it.
Well does it have a radiator?
    No it’s a fan cooled
It’s got to be coming from top of motor
I got it covered by a tarp
    It’s rain/snow getting in..
    Are you sure?
Not positive BUT I bet it isn’t evaporations in a closed system..

Did you cover the intake with a plastic bag and rubber band it shut..

    Hey that’s a really good idea:picard:

I don't mind white window frames, J's, door, soffit, that stuff is almost unavoidable anyway. But for some houses, not all, having the white corners almost turns the white into the dominant color, because the white is totally surrounding the color of the actual siding. It can be the line between accents and overkill (just my opinion of course). Some houses do pull it off, depends on the color of the house, and design of the house.

I know you were leaning matching, but if you can't get those pieces in the matching color you'll still look just as good as the other houses :)

    I can relate.
One of my grandsons was in the auto tech program. After his first year he was mowing the yard and came in and told me:
"The mower quit and the battery is dead."
    "Does it turn over."
    "Yes, but it doesn't start."
    "It isn't the battery"
With that grandson you had to consider what they had to work with. Not much.
5 years later I had another grandson go through the program. They did a good job of teaching him. They had more to work with to begin with.

Jon I think you'll like that little saw. Especially the light weight. Like Midwinter, I have the 180 which is not much different from the 170. We've given several of these away at our gtg's.

My daughter and I got a walk in around the big city the other day. The water is starting to flow very well over the dam....

Started out the day going to the Stihl Toy store for an ignition switch for the Mini. No #s on it. They were able to cross reference it but would have to order it. Should be here in 2 days. From internet place I normally get my parts, I knew the little devil was going to be costly. Boy are they proud of that switch. $41 including shipping. The best I had found on the internet was $39 plus shipping Probably would have been able to get it at Amazon cheaper. At least I am reasonably assured I have the proper part coming.
My wife should be happy with me. I didn't come home from the toy store with a new saw.
From the toy store I went to the Credit Union to cash some checks. While there I decided to talk to loan lady about getting preapproved to purchase a truck. No problem which I knew. Now to find that truck.
Spent the afternoon checking out the local dealers the Credit Union deals with on the net. Holy Moly are the prices ridicules. Best deal, if you want to call it that, was a 2017 RAM 1500 4wwd Quad cab with 21302 miles for $24,500. My gosh that is $7000 more than I paid new for my 2003 2500HD. I will have to go and kick tires to see if I can get a better price.
    Off to search Car Gurus.

Many moons ago my son was dating a nice young lady who had taken an auto tech course. I don't remember what happened but apparently my son's car battery would not roll over the engine so he was going to jump start it off girlfriend's mother's car. Then she stopped him. Reason was the batteries were not the same size. The one in their car was a much smaller battery than in son's car. It did not seem to matter they were both 12 volt. He could not seem to get through because she was told that when jump starting to make sure the batteries were the same...

Enjoying another nice sunny day. A little rain overnight but not a lot.

Lots of activity at the voting polls today. While I was there the clerk was telling someone that I was on the board and that the entire board was running for office again this fall. I corrected her and she acted shocked. lol

Prices of cars and trucks are insane. I heard yesterday where the average monthly payment in the US is $554 for 84 months. Those used to be mortgage payment numbers.
