Good morning everyone, set your clocks ahead I hope. 27* out and 52* in, the fire was lit yesterday morning and we only burned till late morning. The wife and kid went out last night and didn't relight when they got home, hence the cool temp in this AM. I lit er' off a half hour ago and the warmth is slowly returning, Cherry and Black Locust are doing the duty now. I can hear a male Cardinal singing outside as I type. Spring is coming.
No one is up yet posting? I see you all fell for the " Spring back, Fall ahead, clock change". Edit, except Erik B
We usually get up around 6 on Sundays so we can make it to church. Today, and the next 3 Sundays, I will be singing with the Coulee Region Gospel Choir, doing our spring concerts. I will be tired by supper time.
48f here this morning, been up since 7:15 local time. No fire again today, but not complaining. Only burnt about a cord so far this (so called) winter. Just waiting for payback time.
It did warm up quite a bit yesterday but that wind was cold. More wind today but supposed to be in the 50's.
I had to milk the 3rd shift last night so got to see the time change on the way home. Didn't get to sleep about 4am. So later start today lol. Already 49 out, stove is running on elm coals from last night
Close enough to call it 60. Over at my mother in-laws house today, finished cleaning off the melting snow from the roof, put a new step on the back doors stairs, fixed her sliding door in the front and shovled off the deck that hasn't been done all winter as the sliding door works now. And I started out in with my hoody on and am down to my sleeveless shirt, it's nice out!
60* here. Big push here to get all the inside painting done with the windows open. Fire season is not done yet though.
Concert was at 3 this afternoon and it went well. The remaining 3 concerts are also at 3PM. Had a full church, which is nice to see.
35 and 75. Almost 50 yesterday and low 50’s today with light winds, feeling like spring! Not much burning going on during the day
