I did this grave marker (attachment below) a few years ago, FINALLY, after years of research and finding where my Dad's toddler brother was buried (my grandparents could not afford a grave marker back then and those that remained did not know where he was buried) Yep tromping around in the historical graveyard in high heels and cold wind and snow between sales appts when I was in that area I FOUND him. No funny sayings here either. This precious little boy now has a marker and I cannot tell you what honor I take in adding my Dad's words on the top as he wished though it was tough money wise. None of that matters now though, I know this entire family is all together now, in peace. It was epidemic menengitis that took him I cannot imagine their pain, the older brother almost died too but made it and had a great life. Wow the things our ancestors went through!
There is a slate carver a few towns away that does fantastic work. He has already carved his headstone and sets it up at art shows at his booth. It is really neat.
