Thx, butt it's too small for a decomp plug. When in shape the pull is easy. ......those in the know say it could be that I'm just weak.:hair:
    Flywheel turns with plug out.

My BIL picked up a Stihl battery powered saw for his wife. He ended up using it a bunch. Said he loves it. They’ve been clearing a lot of mountain laurel and rhododendron behind their house. All things have a place. I’m sure at some point you may have said the same about a cordless drill.

Just messin with you , Not for me either .

Wood wolverine does have a point , the cordless drill might very well be the start of the battery powered tool world. Today's battery technology has come a long way over the years. But there are still some things that I really don't want a battery on or in.

I don’t really care what the catapult is between my legs when I’m on 2 wheels, or 4 for that matter. Fast is fast, doesn’t matter how you get there. Do I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning? He11 yes. Do I love the sound of a lopey Corvette LS? He11 yes. I adore the L-twin of my Ducati. But if it comes to it, I’m not resistant of change. If I had an electric motorcycle that would get me to work, and I could plug it into a small solar panel, and ride home, daily, without paying $$... shoot why not? Yes, it won’t do for the 12-15 hour rides me and my buddies do monthly. That’s it’s short fall. Technology isn’t all bad... look at that cordless drill battery now compared to 5-10 years ago.

It’s all whatcha want and today, we have a choice.

I'm with you there. I've owned several in-line four cylinder bikes including two BMW S1000RR, and while I totally respect the machines and the engineering, I never fell in love with them like I have with my old KTM 950s and Ducati Hypermotard and MH900.
There's something about a V-twin engine that's special to me.

As for electric bikes, their time is coming. On paper, the torque has me very interested, but I also know that they will be missing a crucial aspect of what makes motorcycles special, namely the sound and vibrations which to me act as a tachometer that I feel as I ride.

That all being said, when Ducati comes out with their electric motorcycle, I will definitely check it out.
