    Can take a paper clip and straighten it out. Hold it with a hemostat then he it up. Have a napkin or couple Kleenex right there to catch the blood when it comes out. Heat the paper clip then put it directly on nail.

    Well, it seems as though I may have gotten away lucky. I am able to type and do secretary things and there is just a small dark dot on the nail and the underside of the finger is a little bruised looking. Still quite sore so we will see what tomorrow brings.
