I get it. In cold weather and for the youngster a more modern vehicle is more conducive to everyday life. I won't ever get rid of my k10 but there is no way I would daily drive it unless I had a very short commute or got a huge pay raise. The fuel alone would cost me double what my Highlander costs. Steering is loose compared to new stuff etc etc.

How is that FJ so ragged out, heater ducts, and all that other stuff? It's a newer yota...you almost have to try to break stuff like that I would think?

I was told it had a hard life with that owner...... He did all the repairs himself, but wonder if he caused more problems in some of his repairs?

PS Horkn , I checked the rear camera today, it's there and I wiped the dust off the lense but it's facing down into the spare cover instead of through the hole, I'll see if I can position it correctly when the weather is warm. ALSO, battery tender is hooked up on the Blazer, works great, Thanks!

I had an 84 K5 blazer like the top one. I replaced the auto hubs with manual ones. I put the plow on and locked the hubs before deer season, then back to free wheeling and plow off mode after Easter. That was a really good truck. The only problem I had was the rear window support rusting out and needing to be replaced once.

wildwest Cross-dominant eyesight creates problems with sighting a firearm. The dominant eye is competing with the same side eye looking down the sight, and most people shoot poorly as a result.

a lot of pistol shooters don’t change hands, but close the non dominant eye and make adjustment with their head and hand position and improve dramatically. I have a deputy who was a marginal shooter until an instructor figured it out. She shoots much better now.

shooting rifles is probably easier to switch over to the dominant side, though. Richelle shoots her righty shotgun left handed but prefers my lefty rifle with the scope

Good morning. Just above freezing here and a bit of rain on our walk this morning. Shadow got me up at 3:00 AM to go out. In the process of closing the patio door, I got my index finger in it. Ouch! I am waiting to see if the whole finger goes black or just the nail. Right hand too so typing is going to be fun today.

Had to take our pup William to the emergency vet this am. He's not drinking water, or eating now. Could only keep some of his food down. Signs of kidney failure way off the charts. He is getting IV/ fluids now. Only 4.5 yrs old. Waiting on last tests now.

Very sad news. I do not know how William could have had a better life and if he could, he would express his gratitude! :handshake:

I'm sure campinspecter has already told you, but you may need to release the pressure by either making a hole in the fingernail or by opening a channel under the fingernail.

The hole through the fingernail works a lot better....

Oh boy. I would not like to have to sharpen a saw of that size by hand.
