    Nope.., that’s the end of it. Just lay em down. There’s a chit load of cedars under all the cottonwoods. laid down the cedar and dropped the cottonwood on top to compress em. That “ditch” they are in is probably 125 yards long. The whole area is going to be filled with 80,000 cubic yards of fill.
    I saved these logs for fire wood off of the other side the project.

    There’s probably 35 to 40 cottonwoods in that mess & cedars like the stars in the heavens.
    There was one more orange saw in the pickup (the 357xp I just got in Billings this weekend) but it didn’t have a bar on it & Didn’t get used in this project, so it wasn’t allowed to be in the photo. Plus I was tired of climbing up and down the banks

    When going out to cut firewood always have a 1:1 ratio of saws to bananas.
