I fellow employee brought in a pack of filters. You clip these on your ciggs and they filter out tar, nicotine, etc. Here is a picture of the filter tip after only 4 cigarettes........NASTY!
My father died of lung cancer from smoking, a horrible way to die. when you see that happen, that makes you not want to smoke, Besides, think of the money you could save for saws and guns.
I found a lump in my throat 3 years ago.. Before I even got a diagnosis from the Dr, I quit. I still will smoke a cheap cigar several times a year when at a function or party (had one at the GTG ) . But it was eye opening to think I had a tumor/cancer. My Grandfather passed away from lung cancer as well. As soon as I found the lump, I could only think about what I seem him go through. . . The thought of dying was enough for me. I was 30 years old at the time and my daughter was only a few months old and my son was almost 10. They were to young to lose their father because of my own selfishness. Once you get over the 1st week, you have it beat. I still want one, but I still want to be able to give my daughter away at her wedding and see my grandkids. A little mind over matter, with a lot of self control
My mother had a Aortic Anyeurism (sp) caused by smoking. She quit at age 74. My dad smoked lucky strikes (unfiltered) for many years until he had 2 minor heart attacks. He quit at age 68. I think the filter in this thread sells itself. Do what Ray did, quit the smokes.
I smoked from '95 till 2013 and about 2 months of '14. After seeing that pic, I'm glad I gave that up. I was smoking filterless roll your own from 2007 till 2013. Imagine what those are like if they have no filter. Geesh!
How about the weeszing you are thinking about it that means a lot Believe that you can feel better than you do now
Cigarettes made me feel bad when I picked the habit back up this year. Literally felt bad and would get sore throats sometimes. Don't want that nonsense anymore. E Cigs don't give me that. I'm out of vape juice almost. I'm buying the 0% nicotine and then we'll see how that is. If I still don't want a cig because I have this, then the nicotine is not an addiction.
I quit over 5 years ago for me the physical addition only last 3 days , drink tons of water and it isn't bad. I got two truck loads of rounds and every time I wanted one I would as my wife put it " go whack wood"
There is no one way to do it, whatever works for you, works for you. Physical exercise is very beneficial in the process
