Looks great, but I really love that old stove! I love the two burners on it. What is that stove again?
Yeah, I was fond of it, but she lives on, sold it for $175 and they are putting it in their house for their heat source. It was a Fire View
I think I recall reading about the person that bought it for 175! They bought it as a backup to the same stove they already had, but this was in better condition. Or was that you?
Yeah, they had the exact same stove in their house, they said mine was in better shape so , they were going to put mine in the house, and move theirs for heat in the garage
Oh I wanted new stove, an EPA, I got discouraged many times not finding, the great deal on a stove to meet my needs, I just needed a little something to start looking again, I missed a couple good deals then bam , found a great deal and, hopped it like quickity quick
My son has the 1250 and I have the Endeavor. Both of us are burning tonight. You will really enjoy your Lopi. If you need more heat spread around, the blower does an excellent job. Like a pellet stove on steroids!
Was looking at your pic again and wondered if that is the door gasket peeking out at the bottom of the door? If it is you need to cement it back on.
Old stove had a 8 cf fire box , I could heat the house to over a 100 in dead of winter if I wanted to , it threw the heat out all around, had to screw around with it a lot, didn't hold the heat real long, one good thing, I never had to really worry about having perfect length splits, cus it would hold a 3ft log New stove is 2.2cf box , I see no problem heating 1200sf with it, holds the heat well , throws most heat out the front, puts out a lot of heat for the amount of wood I put in, With the initial help of everyone on the forums , it is much easier to run, still more learning to go when it gets colder, I like the 18" square fire box
