    That’s what I was leaning towards. It did have a lot of bad reviews about the motor overheating and not turning back on.

    Wandering around in the NH woods.
    Shopvac with a 25’ hose. Allows me to leave the shopvac outside while vacuuming. No chance for poorly filtered air to end up in the house...

    Yes, as the filter gets dirty the motor has to work harder. A semi-conscious person will hear it and clean the filter, but I’m sure they sell to all comers. We use it as a mini shop vac at times, but mostly to clean around the stove and in around the cat.

    Cheetah ash vacuum have had it for 16 years and am very happy with it!

    Got it at Plow/Hearth years ago.
    Royal PITA.
    Haven't used it in years since I got the Ash Dragon.

    Cheetah ash vac here also that’s at least 15. It had 10 years with 2 pellet stoves now it’s great for cleaning the cat.

    ShopVac or same WITH a GoreTex filter. Used for fine powder like drywalls or ash.
