Picked up a new to me 7’x14’ dual axle trailer. Buddy sold it for $1000, was super happy with the price, plus knowing the history helps. He even loaded it with oak before I picked it up! Some was even split up.. I love it. Felt good behind my truck and the 4runner. Can’t wait to start working with it.
That's a nice trailer. I'm sure it would haul 1.5-2 cords of softwood if you put higher sideboards on it.
It dod come with the tool chest, and he had welded the pockets on either side for gas cans. He used this for hauling a side x side and quads. He also added led lights. Thought that was neat, even if I don’t have that style gas can.
Very nice looking trailer and load! Love the tool box. Good price also! Is your 4runner up to pulling that fully loaded?
Yep without a doubt that will make for a great wood hauler. Especially with the place to keep your chainsaws, and axes, splitting wedges, bar oil, fuel, wood tongs, rope, felling wedges, spare chains, and all those little items for sharpening. I like it.
Redding has more than conifers. Madrone and oaks are there. I've been there several times as my wife is from NorCal. Madrone may be the most dense wood in the US. "Only" was my word. Taller sideboards had no specified height.
As many as I want for the near future. Honest. He doesn’t burn anymore and has down trees. Doubtful. Its rated at 5k, my truck will fo most the hauling. Which also isn’t much better. It should haul a cord just fine, plus any toys for camping inthe summer. Im looking at f250s, but I wait for the right deals. Hence the trailer before a truck.
