Same here. I scored some poplar, last spring. I css'd it thrn, and covered. Time to bring in a couple of sticks, to see if they need more cooking.

Good morning brothers and sisters. Going to get more Red oak from around the corner. Bigger than I really care to mess with
With the good Lord willing in two years I will have forgotten how hard it was to get. Have a great day everyone.

Sunrise on the lake. It was squeaky snow cold with lots of frozen fog, but it had warmed to almost 30f by the time I left at 10:30AM. Fishing itself was slow, but still a great morning out there. I decided to wait to pull the house off until Monday after work.

I love rounds that size, especially with the metal rack we use at the splitter.

Good afternoon all. Clear blue skies and lower 30s. Will be going to upper 30's. Last fall a friend of ours asked Chaz if this spring he would drop some trees for him. So Chaz headed over there a little while ago. Don't know if he will remember to take pics or not. He did say at some point we will be getting a couple loads of oak out of it.
    Have a great weekend all.

Yes ma'am. No weekends for this guy.

It was a beautiful morning here so that means it's time to work on next years supply. This pile showed up last Saturday. It looks like there's cherry, oak, walnut and ash in the mix. Its gonna give me a good jump on getting on the 3 year plan.

Beautiful! Cut, split, and stack all in one place, no need to lug it around.
