Things you don't often say as a wood burner

No gas for me either here, even though we're less than a mile from the Trans Canada pipeline.
If I had to go with oil and keep it the same temps. inside as I do now, I'd be looking at 3 to 4 thousand dollars per winter. I'm not about to do that.

 

We bought ours for 1.495 this year in the middle of Kansas. Where are you? How much a gallon?

 

My wood isn't so hard any more.

 

I always buy my propane during the summer for a cheaper rate. 1.29 back in july 2019.

 

We contract ours in the summer too. 1.29 is pretty good. Where are you located?

 

Earlier this week, I saw LP advertised at 1.25 a gallon. Nice!

 

Yes dear, I AM going to leave those 20” stumps there. They don’t burn worth a darn!!

We saved too much on the heat bill this year. We should run the oil furnace more often.

Thats a good price, but i have enough mix oil.

 

There are really nice people who take my wood in the middle of the night.
