Good morning. It is -8f and dropping, but we are predicted to be warming to the 30s through the weekend which will make for a nice time out on the lakes.

Good morning everyone! 18° here, headed to 29°. Yesterday I went down to MA to a big Korean market for supplies. I did see a chunk of locust by the side of a local road, might go back for it some Sunday morning.
Toady will be a full day of babysitting down at my son's house. I haven't done that in awhile, mostly he comes up here. It'll be fun except for the drive. If the guys working on the bathroom are too annoying, we'll go out for a bit.
More 50° in the forecast next week!
    Have a great day all!

That sounds nice Midwinter. My wife is a teacher so she put in her sub plans yesterday in order to stay home and watch our 10 month old granddaughter because our son-in-law has the flu that is going around up here and our daughter needs to be at work today. So when I get off work she will be at our home!

Gonna be chilly here next couple days.
Good time to work in the basement. I need to make a bowl for my nephew for a wedding gift.
Hope everyone has a great day.
    God bless.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Looks kinda soggy again today, hate for our mud to dry out. Screenshot_20200220-074921.png
Need to get the rest of MIL stuff moved, guess we will see how hard it rains. It's gonna be cooler today, in the 40's, 8:00 this morning will be the warmest part of the day, at 46°. Might be a good day to burn some wood and learn/read my book on the new GoPro camera we got. I made the video, "Soggy ride home" with it Midwinter
Still have a lot to learn. Hope y'all have some nice weather to enjoy.
This is the day GOD has made, I WILL rejoice and be GLAD.
Be encouraging, lend a hand, share a smile.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good morning folks. Well the other day I stopped at a house a few streets over where they had some huge Red oaks taken down.
Came home grabbed my saw wheelbarrow and mull and went back and worked like crazy to get some. Might see if I can take
my splitter over to get more. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all! Off to work soon. Nice crisp Winter day here in Southern Connecticut. Taking the saw with me and may cut before or after work at my ash score.
Have a great day and stay safe if making firewood!

It turned out so much better than a cellphone video, I'm looking forward to more!
I would be all over that too, I love it when the homeowner says have at it!
Brad do you ever not have your saw with you?

It rarely stays in the truck. Only goes when i know ill be cutting. I have Isocore and axes in front seat, but between work and hauling wood it would be in the way if in back. Id like to somehow make room behind the seats to keep it with me for those "unexpected" wood scores!
Also being a 261 ($600+ saw new) id be heartbroken if it was stolen.

It's been more like an extended fall or early spring here all winter. Ugh.
We've had less than 5" of snow all winter. Lots of rain and pretty mild temps.
    And mud!...i hate mud.:hair:
