It seems the Kangaroo State is going to get its first real snow. We may see 5 cm of the white stuff; or maybe more, I remember one year they said 5 cm and we got 46 cm. However, I don't think it will be much. It is going to start as rain and then turn to snow in the afternoon. I will post photos if we get anything. I am leaving the canopy up and will go out and knock snow off at regular intervals.
Schools are letting out early, it's getting real! The snow is coming, the snow is coming! And i didn't go to the store to get bread and milk!
Update: Forecast has changed; now maybe only a light dusting of snow. There is a light snow falling now.
You know how those "dustings" can go for us though! Yep, won't be no milk or bread! Don't know how I'll make it without milk sammiches...
It is actually snowing a lot but melting on the ground. Depends on how the temps go as to how much snow will accumulate.
Bushes are getting white, porch is getting white, ground is getting white; we might be back at the 5 cm+ again.
I trained in Engineering. Wet snow but roads are clear but could be icy in the morning. Having to clear the canopy though.
Hahaha...you both have a good point! However, I'd rather be able to measure like that than feet or yardsticks worth! And for the record, it's started sticking and we've got a strong dusting now
I sure hope ya'll down south don't get hammered with the snow fall. But it will be funny on the news for us that are used to it.
