Finally light enough to do something when I get home from work. We have a lot of EAB victims to get cleaned up before they rot. Got about an hour in bucking and carrying them up a small hill to the edge of the field. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here here. I wish we just stayed on daylight savings all year. I rarely see any sunlight while I’m at home during the week. It’s dark when I leave in the am and dark when I get home at night now still. After we change the clocks I will finally have a chance of getting things done outside after work. And more importantly I will have time to play outside with my two boys.
It's not the time change that's the issue here. The issue with daylight hours is all man made. Here we go thinking this is something else we can control to suit our desires/needs. Now don't get me wrong, I look forward to the longer daylight hours also.
I HATE the time change. I agree with you about man trying to screw one more thing up. Just pick one & stick with it for cryin out loud.
Indeed the days are getting longer and longer. Last night I noticed at 6:30 we could still see well outdoors. I like it but do not like the time change. Keep it one way or the other. Either way works for me.
I’m actually more into that than the time change. The longer the sun is out the more your wood dries....
I dislike the time change also. But, as a bus driver, it is nicer to get the kids in the morning near daylight instead of black nighttime. With that said, I am in the camp of pick one time and go with it. It isn't like we are as dependent on time as in the past. With instant communication, business transactions take place 24/7.
What is that strange non white surface you placed that wood on? Like days getting longer but we are still a month and a half from brown ground here. The county snow report said we are just shy of 80" for the 19/20 season so far.
