Yes, a good number of plants can grow roots that willl survive in a water media, hydroponics wouldn't exist if they couldn't.
Some plants respond to cutting clones in water media, some prefer sand of some sort.
Some will even transition to a soil based media after cuttings have been cloned in a water media. Some won't.
Isn't all that variability wonderful ?

I need to get an aloe plant again. We always had a nice sized one when growing up. You never know when you'll need it.

I try to be super careful loading the stove. I do wear one of the grilling gauntlet gloves so I don't burn myself.

MIL got me the regular length LL B gloves about 6 years ago, and they were still in great shape when she got me the long version 3 years ago!!!
Fire Flake recently pea brained her forearm, having left the gloves on the shelf near the stove.
Gave the regular length pair to MarkG last year when we got his stove up and running. :salute:

My wife gave me these, for grilling. Go figure. ;) I leave them on the hearth usually on top of the reserve high BTU splits/ rounds that are sort of artisinal firewood/ decoration/ always ready for a cold snap wood. Always be prepared.

F153229B-F9AB-49FF-8389-8328DDB4D3C6.jpeg In her defense she was wearing the gloves. I don’t understand why she would stick her hand in so far tho:loco:

Yeah, there's pretty much no reason to stick your arm in that far. If you do, you need to really pay attention or get the "woodburners tattoo".

I've had the same burn/burns, normally i'll put a chunk of wood in the stove, then , think, hmmmm i should put it in just a little farther back, and, yup, you know the outcome. My wife will open the stove door, then kind of flip it inside the stove, depending on its size. To me, that's a good way to break the bricks. She's afraid of getting burned i guess, lol. To her credit, she's not burned herself yet.

as usual it’s my fault, I tend to makes my splits pretty large so they don’t burn up so fast. She doesn't have the hand strength to hold from the end.
