I put a ad on the marketplace for Red Oak fresh sawn green lumber some quarter sawn and posted a picture I got a response said he would of been interested if i had not painted it green I guess he did not like the log end coating another response was 'Is it kiln dried As Sheriff Buford T Justice said "What is this world coming to " this was the picture posted I thought it showed the lumber correctly just makes me wonder
I hate selling on the internet: What kind of wood is it? Is it seasoned? Would this be good for toothpicks? Would you like help selling this item? I have half a sack of hard qwick-crete and a flat tire, trade? Would you take $.50 for it?
LOL, I just sold a couple of cars on CL, I put in the ad that if the ad is up then it's available and if your first question is " is it still available"? then I'm charging an extra $50
Vehicles are the worst. Questions: engine, transmission, 4x4, miles, how does it run, available, any problems, etc. My standard response is, the information is in the ad. Please read the ad.
And then the opposite perspective: “4 wheeler for sale“ with no other info. Any ad with no price. Are you that lonely? Do you enjoy answering the same obvious questions over and over? I don’t even bother replying if they can’t give basic info in the ad.
Yes it came out real nice that log was sitting here for a year that anchor seal on the ends made all the difference no staining on the ends at all I cut the one sealed end off just to check that is why some of the boards are end sealed the other good part was that log was a tree service drop off did not cost me
Unfortunately that's a generic response to an ad on FB. Most people (apparently) don't know how to type in a personal reply. Nice lumber JB Sawman .
