    Look at practically any old picture taken in winter and people are all wearing hats. Today, go into a city and look around; you'll find very few wearing hats. I guess it is more important to keep your hair neat rather than keeping your arse warm.

    Ever heard this one? If your feet are cold, put your hat on. There is truth to it.

    I think it was in the 70's or 80's that I had heard up to 50% of body heat is lost through your head if you don't wear a hat. Easy fix, no?

    We were talking yesterday with my son and BIL and one time we started talking about a shivaree. Does anyone remember those? Perhaps the reason I remember them is because we were shivareed shortly after our marriage. A wild night!

    Has anyone on here been to a shivaree or has had one?
