Working hard getting ready for sap season . I’ve known about this standing dead elm in the pic but getting the ground to freeze up just didn’t happen . Finally froze up and decided to get it down before it falls on my pump line . The line is 1” and where the elm is it’s about 10ft high . Didn’t want the elm falling on my line and making my work for me . Plan was to at least hinge it to fall towards the opening away from the line . I knew it would probably hang up in the oak branches and if it did I would just leave it until a later date . Cut the hinge perfect , tree went direction I wanted and it hung up . Ok , I’m not gonna mess around just let it be . Walked back to the truck and BOOM , dead elm was down . Bucked it up and got a nice load in the 6x12 trailer . Bottom rounds stunk bad. I’ll drop off those nasty , stinking , sure to be stringy blocks over at Backwoods Savages place so he can get up close and personal while he splits them vertical ! Your welcome Dennis .

Pics are taken with phone . I have posted pics before with phone with no issues . I don’t rotate the phone when posting pics or typing text .
I’ve noticed with my phone that if I take vertical photos and post on this forum (and another I used to belong to) they flip sideways (just as yours did here) when posting. Never had the issue happen with any photos that were taken horizontally.
And here I was sure that wishlist was always laying down on the job so that is why the pictures turn out that way...

Nice little load! Sometimes gravity works with us! Did you give the wood to Dennis because of the smell or difficulty factor in splitting or both wishlist ?
My phone was flipping photos when I posted too. I had to log out of Tapatalk, shut my phone off completely for a couple minutes and when I fired everything up again the photos were posting normal again. Tech can be challenging for me sometimes!!!!!!
Perhaps you have not been around her enough just yet. Oh yes, she may not be really loud, but she can get ornery.
I had that happening with a canon camera and posting pics here. Wouldn't do it all the time though, which was weird. It seemed to be something with the exif data, but who knows what. Opening the pic on my computer in a pic viewer ( I forget which one, probably just appleos preview) changing the orientation of the pic from portrait to landscape, then back, then saving the pic, would fix it. Became a habit before posting here and another forum with different forum software. With a decent camera in my phone now I don't use the canon any more. Pics from my dslr are too big and I just don't post anything from any of my dslr any more. It's easy enough to downsize the pics, I'm just lazy.
