Brandon Scott Tell your friend to chill. My father-in-law was 57 when my wife was born. She was an only child.

 

You are one lucky gal, Midwinter Your primary is over and gone are a lot of the political ads and phone calls, at least for awhile. It will be awhile before we get to have our say and we will have to put up with a lot of ads and phone calls.

 

It wasn't too bad this year. There was only about a week between IA and NH, so not enough time to get really annoying. There were a lot fewer phone calls. I assume a lot of outreach has moved to the web.
While I was at the polls, I ran into the mother of an old school chum of my son's. Her son is an ESL teacher and videographer who has lived in China for the past decade. He came home a couple of weeks ago, with his Chinese girlfriend, for a visit, just as the outbreak was ramping up. He decided to return to China, where he is now, just outside of Hong Kong. He did it partly because his girlfriend was going back, and partly because he would have a front-row seat to document a historic event. His mom said that his apartment building is currently quarantined, so how much videographing he's able to do I don't know. His mom was OK with his decision.

 

I am not sure I would have made the same decision. Hope it all works out well for him.

 

My buddy and his wife went today and caught 20 nice fish. I worked on becoming a resident.

It's my mother-in-law, we didn't get her moved, going to try next week. She will be about 12 miles from us.

 

It would be interesting to hear what he has to say about it now that he is in it. I dont suppose you will be talking to her again by chance? I am curious what's really going on. For some reason I just dont fully trust what those communist governments have to say
