At least froze enough to get some wood out without destroying trails. I started with dropping a sugar maple that is barely alive. To bad cause it was a nice tree.

Barely missed the mouse, no I haven’t been back to get more locust. They just started letting us cut wood and I don’t want to mess it up. It’s so muddy I don’t want to make to big of a footprint.

Thanks. I was just talking to the local dealer and he quoted me around $3800 for the 45m. Not sure if I want to look for used or go new.

I'm betting there will be plenty of folks happy to see some frost in the ground.

Worth the investment in my opinion. You can pull a lot of wood out in a day when you don’t have to cut a road to get to it.
