Chances are he'd be just another person who would not appreciate the highly developed sense of Yooper humor!

I wish they had an idea on what I got, twice. It wipes me right out. I don't have the energy to go out at all. I also don't want to be exposed to some more germs. I thought I had really good defences until this stuff caught hold of me. I'm taking naps a lot and dare not get too far from the facilities. One of my salvations is getting on this forum for some good chatting. I don't feel so isolated then. My wife isn't sick at this time, but she doesn't move so good. That's why we have a housekeeper come in for a few hours every week. As soon as we can open the windows, I know things will improve. Fresh air and sunshine are excellent treatments for illness and low energy.

Friend of mine had the same situation. Tried the same diplomatic route with the same negative results. The next time the dog crapped on his property, he immediately took a shovel and returned it to the neighbor via flinging it against his picture window. Shortly thereafter, the situation rectified itself in that the dog never made a return visit after that. Everyone has a different learning curve...........................

Just reloaded the stove with a few red maple rounds and one (1) 4 inch or so split of spruce. The spruce ignited like it had been soaked in gasoline. Small little piece of wood burning like :

Must have been a knot loaded with fatwood resin if that's possible with spruce. Looked like I had a rocket engine in there.

Sounds like you need to go mirror shopping instead of window shopping.

yooperdave , I had a similar situation, on the other side though. We have dogs, always will. Our old neighbor assumed that our dogs were pooping in his yard. They weren't.

He thought he'd be funny and the first time he put someone's dog poop, or possibly coyote poop on our front step. Thanks for that. I know for a fact it wasn't from our dogs as they never went onto his yard. We'd walk our dogs on leash or take them to the dog park. So what he was thinking couldn't have been from our dogs.

The most discussion there was between us was when I was outside with the dogs in our backyard. The neighbor told me my dogs had pooped in his yard, and I politely explained that he was mistaken because they never even walked into his yard.

The first time, I just disposed of it. I didn't say our do anything more than that.

The second time he put poop on my Jeep's hood. He never spoke to me about his concerns, so I got even with him, and probably more.

    That was it for me.
After putting on rubber gloves, I smeared fresh dog poop all over his windshield and front door windows of his Prius in the middle of the night. Good luck with that guy. I'm sure he had a really nice surprise when he went to start his car up on that Monday morning to go to work.

I never heard or saw anything from him again, and my wife and I ended up buying our house a few miles up the road after the second of the 100 yr floods hit that rental house.

Or just get a can of spray bomb and paint one to match the vehicle.

Absolutely they have. They pooped in DaveGunter 's yard too. I'd let your dogs poop in my yard too. ;)
    :handshake:

Yes, my pups are spoiled. They seem pretty happy with their arrangement. :D

    Speaking of dumping...

It's been snowing all day for Thor 's return to Wisconsin.

I'll wait until it stops to go and snowblow.

We're supposed to get 5" or so.

Well, I hunkered down in the basement and watched the first disc of Centennial and then went up to deliver the "package".

They ended up stopping by and taking care of it.

Now, Horkn has me wondering if I need to check my picture windows....:D

I wouldn't have noticed unless you said something:whistle:

I still feel terrible about Jackson's greeting of Badger...he seems to be getting more ornery as he ages.
