You can find many of both at the worlds longest yard sale we have every year. Usually around $10.

Good morning everyone! The cat woke me up at 4. It's 18° here this morning, headed up to the low 40's with sun. Yesterday I got my tin shed filled... IMG_20200131_22968.jpg
There's some maple under the poplar. I figured it pretty well, only about 10 poplar splits I can't fit in.
Today I'll cut up the pile of dump wood in the driveway, probably go back and look for more, too. I'm excited to have stuff to scrounge again!
Have to get ready for the weekend, too, do some shopping. Lots of sales on chicken wings and chips! No interest in the game in this house, though.
    Have a good Friday, everyone!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I'm off today...woo hoo... Looks like rain most of the day, may go out to the shed and grind a few chains that got beat up on the old logs.
    Have fun and be safe.

Good morning. Up extra early today. We were exhausted from the work week, add in a couple glasses of red wine after dinner, and we were sound asleep in bed at 8:30, which for me means wide awake between 2:30 and 3:30...sure enough!

    Coffee maker just finished!

I just hope the gills are around. last weekend I caught 2, and only saw half a dozen or so come through. In the winter they can be really lethargic and you have to coax them to bite most days. The pike are a true cold water fish, and are usually pretty active under the ice.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Beat the alarm clock up this morning, guess that's what happens when you fall asleep in the chair by the woodstove...guess I better get coffee going, going to work at the plant today, guy took off, get to make a little OT. Then we have one of the grandkids BD party this evening. We had a cold rain all day yesterday, stayed about 41-42*. Went to my shed and sharpened a few chains, took a nap and we went to the visitation for a great friends mom.
Be encouraging, share a smile, lend a hand. Remember we aren't promised tomorrow.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.

Roland Martin is still going strong in Florida, and as excited as usual about his fishing which is what I like about him. He has a youtube channel. This video is from the Kissimmee area.

Forgot to tell you I ordered a Hero 8 camera and plan on starting my own YouTube channel. Nobody believes the stories I tell so I’m gonna prove it. Still working on my channel name....”Kissimmee Special” maybe. Might even be my boats name. My first video will be this next week of the farm and house and why I’m moving. I know nothing about editing video but I’m gonna learn. I’m not happy with any fiberglass cane poles on the market either and plan on designing my own. I have used them all.

I watched him as a kid in the 70s. The other host I liked the best was Al Linder who is our northern equivalent in terms of notoriety.

We also watched old Virgil Ward..."from the lakes of northern Canada to the Gulf of Mexico, where ever fish are biting thats where we're gonna go."

Keep us updated on our youtube channel!

I’ve watched all of them since the 70s. Al Linder is a favorite. If it’s a fishing show I watch it. Crazy maybe. My dad gave me a Zebco 202 at 3 years old and been ruined ever since.

You will be the first to get a notification of the channel. I know when I show catching 50 3lb crappie in 20 minutes things will go viral.

Had the Zebco 202 as well. I had a big northern snap my line due to the sticky friction drag system. I'll never forget the sound of those plastic teeth start to buzz, followed shortly by a loud "crack."
