I try to keep a good amount of the rope for the doors in the parts cabinet.
I use high temp silicone to attach the stuff in the door channel.

    Far more flexible...

Yeah buddy...that faint smell of smoke is not one I like....especially if nobody has opened the door in several hours to kick out the clinker....

    Glad ya got it fixed

Weather is crazy...gonna be 60 F today and then SNOW by Sunday...

Playing musical stoves of late too.

The big Whit was driving us out night before last...so shut it off and fired up the little Whit....

    Much better.
House is nice at 70 F but 77 F is just waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too warm.

    Been a weird winter.
Still burning up a stock of shells that we had from back in 2011 I think.

A lot of fines, sticks, hulls and other crap.

Screen bucket gets the sticks out but the stuff is dusty.....

4 barrels left of that crap...be happy to never need to screen any more shells.

Munchy gives us such clean dust free material.

Amazing how much dust accumulates in the house from the shells being dumped into the stoves, plus ash.....arrrgh

Or when someone makes a comment "half day or leaving early" my usual response is the first time I see you when i get in at 4:30 am you will then have the right to such a comment until then Fluck off . I have half a day in before you arrive so STFU

Everyone here knows that if they make a meeting that late I wont be attending , in the beginning they tried that quite a few times as they are hard learners but eventually they learned. I tell them to schedule a meeting at 4:30 am ? what excuse me no did you say well don't ask me to attend a meeting after I have already put in 12 hours.

I have two large air purifiers very near my p68. That stove and 5 himalayan cats cause a lot of dust etc. but the air cleaners are sized to the area and do an outstanding job of keeping the dust down.

I am always removing hair from clothing. I shave them twice a year. These cats I have don't bite or scratch. When they are picked up they are fairly limp. Vets says they are ragdoll. Hard to shave them as they are always trying to dart away. I can put them in the drain sink and wash them without anyone getting hurt. Three of them were born here, the parents were bought as kittens.

Just because I had a 20% off coupon, I stopped at Aubuchon's and grabbed 10 bags of Okanagan Platinums. I got some last year and although they were okay, but not worth what they are asking for them.

Now those pellets are priced at 7.99/bag. So I figured I'd pay $64 or $6.40/bag. Eh, still too much but hey, what the heck.

BUT, the total came to $57.52. whaaat? Okay, $5.72/bag is good. But I couldn't figure out how my estimation of the cost was off by that much. Just looked at my receipt, and for some reason "my" price was $7.19/bag, then the 20% was taken from that. And bonus - a $5 coupon printed out for my next visit

I have not been around much with all the medical stuff going on. I go to the hospital 3 days a week for iv treatment and I start rehab in a few weeks. I finally am up and doing a little more. Eye surgery in 3 months and hopefully I can drive again. I read here a lot just have not been up to posting. I hope everyone had a good holiday and are doing well. Ty for all the help, as it’s always appreciated!

2 of my close friends have ragdoll cats. Only cats I can be around w/o allergic reaction. And yes, they pretty much go limp when you pick them up.....and a LOT of fur.

Just as I had predicted, it is time to restock my pellet supply. I asked the man at Pellet Warehouse to hold onto two tons of MWPs for this time of year. I gave him a call and he is delivering them on Tuesday. Works good for me. My son has the space cleaned up and ready for them. I've been getting pellets from this folks for years. Very nice to deal with. Always enjoy the chit chat when they come.

Glad to see you here even if it's temporary. Good to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
