I have two, one home made and one Yard max. Both are outside and double tarp covered. I have no choice, no garage but I do put stabil in the fuel and run it through the engine. On a real good nice day, I'll uncover them and start and run them, keep them oiled and clean. Back under the tarp they go!

The tractor is warming up to retrieve it now. I have enough room in the garage but when all the equipment is in there is no room for our vehicles or to work.

You used to be able to but not any more. At least the airport near me. Used to get leaded gas for an old boat motor but now they want docs for the plane/engine it's going in. If you're near a car race/drag track you might find fuel there ?

Anyone can at my local airport. I run it in my saws ‘cause I like the smell.

Hm, that's interesting one! I like it. Makes sense. Never thought of that.

Yeah, if it's gonna sit awhile, it'll leave the ridge at the top.

I posted earlier about mine being outside and covered. The other day i was thinking about it, and decided to put a fuel cut off on the uphill side of the carburetor. Its Plastic, so it won't rust, and it works like a charm, now, when i'm done splitting, i just turn the fuel cut off to ''off'' and let it run out of gas on its own in about 20 seconds or so.

That is certainly a good improvement. I always run my motors out also.
