    First tie poster here...

How do I go about finding a semi trailer load of logs? In MN. What should I expect to pay? Trying to find a good source of logs. First year wood burner....

    Thank you for the info!

It’s not too hard to find around me, just depends on who’s got them. If you search for logging, something might come up. Around here it’s best to go with location where they do it often. In towns where logging is involved, sometimes it only takes a couple phone calls.

Also, Welcome to FHC. You’re in the right place.

Hi DarinD , welcome to FHC

As to finding a load of logs, look on craigslist, or Facebook marketplace. Or just check with local loggers.

You can find a lot of slab wood in central MN but the log trucks are coming out of up north and are hard to get.

    Hello and welcome, Darin.

Contact some tree services, or arborists. They should be able to refer you to someone that can deliver in quantities.

Hello and Welcome from a fellow Minnesotan. I found a load of 20' sticks of red oak, (flat bed with crane, pulling a trailer) delivered to Stanchfield for my friend. $950 cash COD. The operation is in Pine City, Besta Logging

That'll probably be better than driving to Michigan. :picard::)
