I give you a lot of credit. I hate those logistically difficult roadside scrounges. There's a few around here i havent bothered with and doubt i will. Gaurdrails, narrow shoulder, embankments up and down hill, tangles etc. You even did it in the snow too!
Atleast it was downhill, that tree uphill i would have to be really desperate. I thank Asplundh for having to get the experience of cutting trees in every type of terrain, mud,sleet,feet of snow, uphill, downhill, hurricanes, blizzards, down pours. and anything else you could think of. Heres the finished delivery that I asked you guys about the stacking fee. I swept off the porch at the end, shook all his mats out and got a removal job from him. Thanks for the advice, great week for Masonhillbilly Firewood, i sold and delivered 5 cords this week, im only doing cords under 10 mile radius because its 2 trips in my truck.
That is a beautiful stacking job there, that's what I call pride in your work and doing right for people. Your customer must have been thrilled! 5 cords delivered last week, in addition to your job, and more cutting as well! Wow. Well, now is when people want to buy wood (short term thinkers), and I suppose the work is more comfortable in these temps than when it's hot and buggy outside. Well done!
Oh absolutely, im really pushing the use of my moisture meter and showed comparisons on Facebook. Its nice to guarantee dry wood. A very high percentage of customers iv had in the last few months are using my wood to mix with wet/green so called seasoned wood that was sold to them. 5 sold this week and 3 booked for march so far. Its crazy
Winning hearts and minds for sure. I snuck a peek on Facebook marketplace, and there were some interesting wood ads, like the fellow in Merrimack selling 3-4 cords of logs for $500. Not that I need it. I'll be going back to Winchester for more this summer.
Did you see any of mine, im still learning facebook, never had one before. Try looking up masonhillbilly firewood or christopher Rush, im not sure but i had a customer say he couldn't find MHBF I might have to go see my business/ advertising Mgr. hes a little genius with that stuff. Hes got quite the little enterprise buying and selling stuff for people.
I had to use my husband's computer, later he remarked that Facebook was showing him ads for firewood, lol. I better not do that again.
Funnybhow they track what you look at, look at Amazon, ads pop up on FB. Look at something on FB, Amazon will send suggestions...grrrrr.
