    Makes sense really, how many billions of equipment in satellite does some one own up there? Most lawyers will tell you laws clearly describe under whose authority they are written. Hey we argue about north pole, oceans, oil, water why not space.

    China is working on satellite killers; taking out communication and navigation sats would be a nightmare. I don't think China is interested in the moon for purely scientific reasons either.
