It was pretty dark in there today by the way. Water is a little cloudy and we have a heavy overcast outside today. Since pike are sight feeders it makes sense that they are not moving much as early as I often see them.

Good afternoon all. We are running about 35 this morning out there. Did have a mix of snow and rain this morning. Didn't amount to much. Have a good weekend all.

I wish, beautiful blue cool day down here, but work schedule said otherwise. Maybe it will be pretty Monday when I'm off.

Good Morning All. We went to bed around 11:30, and probably didn't fall asleep until almost midnight, so slept in a bit. Coffee is brewing, then we have a kitchen to finish cleaning up after a get together last night withs some friends from high school days.

    Good morning, all.

Just over an inch of rain, overnight. That took away most of the snow we got a week ago. Back to bare ground.

I'm hoping to spend some time splitting some poplar rounds I scrounged a couple weeks ago. I'm sure it'll be a bit squishy underfoot.

Enjoy your day. Stay healthy stay safe.

Good morning everyone! 34° out, and only the piled up snow is left. It will be squishy out for sure! Maybe I'll put my chopping block on an old tarp, so my splits don't get all muddy.
Yesterday was relaxing, my grandson had a little cold and mostly wanted to chill on the couch. I feel like I'm on borrowed time, bound to catch either his cold or my husband's.
Mild temps right through the 10-day forecast into February. Pretty freaky.
    Have a great Sunday all!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Weather is flip-flopped, said it was 34* this morning at work, windshield froze when I cleared it off, so must have been below 32* at the house. Working my last 12hr dayside this week, off tomorrow, then 3 nights. Wish I could see my church family this morning, but will have to put on some worship music here and read the WORD and a devotional.
If you woke up this morning, give GOD praise, if you have a warm house and food to eat, give GOD praise. If you have income available, give GOD praise. If you are healthy, give GOD more PRAISE...there are so many that don't have what we do, we are truly blessed. I THANK GOD for all my blessings, my family, my health, my job and especially my FHC friends, thanks for accepting an old southern redneck and his hunny.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.
