    Mornin all! Woke up at 2:45, turned on FHC.....said NOPE......went back to bed. Rain on the metal roof helped. Coffee hot now.

    Good morning everyone! A mild 24° here, headed to 44°, and it looks like it will stay above freezing all weekend, including at night. The rain will take away the little bit of snow on the ground. Breaking out the wheelbarrow next week!
    Today I'll bring more wood in, do some splitting, and get ready for babysitting on Saturday.
    Sure would like to hoard some new wood, but when I look at my yard, I haven't burned as much this year as compared to last year. I have to empty some space!

    Happy Friday, everyone.

    I think I'll cut some ash i hoarded last weekend.

    Then, go fetch my snowblower. The auger cable snapped last Sunday. Took it to a local guy. Additionally, had him replace the drive cable, and the two internal belts. The extra cable and belts, I'll hang onto as spares.

    After that, deal with some odds and ends, before going out this evening to dinner with and another couple. We used to exchange Xmas gifts, but stopped that. We now give each other time. A few hours together.

    Good chance.
    Been icy around the house so I've been working in the basement putting up new LED lights and cleaning out my kindling storage. Burning the last of the kindling up today. I'll be using that space for a bandsaw and other shop tools/storage

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Back to work for me this weekend, day side. Had some Mickey D's coffee with breakfast at work this morning. Rainy and about 50* today, so the wood yard is safe till Monday...lol...we did get the load cut and delivered yesterday afternoon..hope y'all have a great weekend.
