    Timber after I changed the oil in my car this evening :) He is always up to no good ;)

    He is getting bigger. Goes to the vet next week, and as of last visit, he has already tripled his weight since we got him

    His right ear has been up for a couple weeks and now that his left ear stood up a few days ago, the right has gone limp. He can make them both stand, but only at attention.

    A couple more weeks and he will take on a more mature GSD look. His body is already becoming much more muscular and his lines are more defined. I see a beautiful dog in the making

    Well, in the last 2 weeks he has really tested my patience. He proceeds to find mud.. Everywhere. . A bath every other day is becoming common place.

    Bath, smath.
    I just let Casper run around outside for awhile until all the mud dries and falls off.:thumbs:
    However, if he decides to roll in a particularly stinky pile of deer poo, he gets the doggie version of a sponge bath.
    I can't wait for the "swamp" to dry up. Less mud and skeeters. Win, win.

    I don't treat our lawn at the house or camp. I don't mow it too short. I read one time that most of the nutrients in grass is higher up in the blade, or something like that. So the shorter you cut it you are making it tougher for the grass to stay healthy. So I started setting my mower a little higher several years ago. Big difference. Not only is the grass healthier, but the weeds are too! But it looks pretty good.
    If any nasty azz weeds get going I will take them out with a shovel, hoe, or the weed eater. [​IMG]

    If there are lots of bugs and mud available, we had a Shepherd that would do this. Her shoulder pack which contained her food when backpacking, had to be water proof!

    My bride goes ballistic when Giz zero's in on a cool mud hole. White dogs... mud holes... magnetic attraction. When we're at the cabin, there's almost always a slimy gross muck puddle that Giz finds first. Wife goes nuts... :rolleyes:... Giz dries out, shakes, dirt's gone in an hour... just in time to find that muck again... :rofl: :lol:... now, when we go, poor Giz is usually at the end of a short leash... :(

    In the last month, he went from 26 lbs to 50 lbs. As of the last vet visit, last Tuesday.

    The vet is happy with his growth, and for his age, is one of the bigger Shepards he has seen. Still under 5 months. :)

    It's hard to keep him still enough for a good pic. The wife had to hold his Tennis ball up to snap these 2 real quick.

    Oh and his ears are both up now :thumbs: Yeah!!
