Tried a 5 hp blower on the deck for a while wildwest ... it just couldn't do it. 3' deep pile of "concrete" snow is a beotch. This Honda launches snow ovah to the next town... that is... if I can move it up onto the deck without doing a triple 1 and a half flip off the side... :zip: ... hafta hold on tight with ma tiny lil hands rottiman ... ... :p

Snow/ice here in central Nebraska today. I came out to work about 5am to start clearing snow and ice. Supt called a 2 hr late start shortly after I arrived, and then called the whole day around 8:00. Hwys are crap, and it’s supposed to be like this thru Thursday. Not much snow but hovering around 30f with rain/snow/sleet makes for dangerous conditions. I’ll be busy running my pickup plow truck and Kubota skid steer some. Here’s A image so this post isn’t sooooo boring. As you can see, it’s a big school in the middle of corn fields....not much for trees around here

Yup... their tracked blowers are amazing. I got a lesson on machine balance Sunday, going up to the top of the ramps. I made the mistake of hitting the gas shock release, before the machine had tipped back level, at the top, on the deck... :headbang:... when I did that, the entire weight of the machine tipped backwards down the ramp, and I had no choice but lift x3 more than I'm used to these days. Could have gone much worse so... I'll take it... whew... :picard:Will try backing up the ramps. Should have been doing that all along.

When I was in Lubbock TX, a dust storm and rain came down. My white Chevy S-10 was tan after the storm.

    Happened more than once.

Actually, yes! Met my old work partner yesterday there to start out the day. One of the guys (still working) from where we worked also showed up.

But, I did not buy that cake there, nope, didn't do that! :p
