    Excellent choice! :salute:
We’ve had a great time splitting with our 22T Champion for many years now! Even got the missus to split in the correct vertical orientation! She has her own milk crate and and anti-waffle butt cushion.

Champion makes a model with a box wedge. It’s one of the only home owner type models I’ve seen with a box wedge.
IIRC it wasn’t much more than the one pictured.

Congratulations on your upcoming and pending purchase!

I used to split everything by hand, didnt think i needed a splitter....you know young and dumb uuggh uggh more power...selling 50-80 truck loads a year. Then when body parts started hurting more and more, i took some sales money and bought one, not a huge one, maybe 21-22 ton from tractor supply. GAME CHANGER! Point being, i imagine you will love it. Could it be quieter, sure. Could it be faster, maybe. But i was able to split through pieces i would normally have left in the woods (never have i ever noodled a piece). Only issue i have with mine is the leaning over running it(im 6 ft). I only use it in vertical mode for the really bigguns i cant pickup or have a super tough time making smaller w maul.

Congrats. Good luck with your new splitter!:handshake:

Try not to tow it any more than you have to.

Look like a real nice splitter. It should make processing much more pleasant! One of the stipulations of heating with wood (for me) was hydraulics. Luckily I got in before the prices skyrocketed.

And make sure you get one of those "many many moons" milk crates! Designed for years of sitting.
