If anyone can read Italian or Spanish could you look at something for me and see what words you can make out? I cannot find an English translation online. Thanks :)

Been snowing here all day since shortly after I hit the road @ 8:30 AM.
    :picard:

Guess winter is paying another visit.

    I'll likely be plowing tomorrow.

    Thank you!
Yeah, we're in the burbs, the next county North of Milwaukee county about 3 miles off lake Michigan. 1 acre shaped in a baseball diamond shape. I'm missing a bigger detached garage, which will happen eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later. An extra garage would go across from the house behind where that dead ash is behind the trailer. A 2 car garage isn't enough.
I've got wood stacks on both far far corners of the lot when you are looking from the end of the driveway in from the cul-de-sac.

My boat is usually in the driveway, but I store it in the winter, so it's not on the property now. A bigger detached garage will allow me to put my 4' snowblower attachment into my ariens garden tractor, and then I could clear my driveway a lot quicker and easier than I do with the 24" ariens walk behind blower. ;). That bigger garage would fit my truck a lot better too, as well as allow me to not have to pay for winter storage.

Yes, the 2 labs are happy guys. They appreciate the yard. There's no hunting here though, as the houses are a little too close. The deer and turkeys seem to appreciate the lack of hunting. Squirrels are lucky I don't have a good pellet rifle, because I'd take care of them, especially the red squirrels.

We did a lot to the house this past Spring with new windows, roof, insulation, and siding. The bigger detached garage had to wait. Maybe this Fall, if we're lucky, or ambitious.;)

We got maybe 2" of snow this morning that turned to freezing rain late morning. It's been on and off all day. It's still going right now :headbang:

Got some of the slab/scrap pile cleaned up and burned. Would have gotten more but had to take a few hours off to take the boy sledding and put up a temporary goat fence.

    I shoulda taken more pics...

Yes, the FJ is finally ready, only 3 months later o_O

Except I'm told the doors do not lock :loco:  Not worried about locks out here but I want to drive it for awhile before putting more $ into it. If I love it and end up taking it to town we'll reassess getting the locks fixed.

Good luck with your snow storm and glad Badger and William like the snow. We haven't had to clear driveways or sidewalks since 1993  We had an oversized garage at previous home and again at this home, but it's deep, not wide, so our trucks take up most the width, pita to walk around. Old garage we had to very careful pulling into, the cab on F250 was an inch from the top of our open garage door. I want a huge garage like Brandon Scott has !!!!!!!!!

Yeah wildwest, 2 car garage here too...attached. Our house is in an older development. I think it was built in 1971...a four level split. I added an egress widow downstairs to make it a four bedroom since we have three children.

Now all the McMansions in developing areas have an attached 3 car garage. I built a 10X12' shed out back which is biggest I could construct without pulling permit. It is certainly overflowing.

I don't like those new housing developments. All the houses look kind of the same, and sterile if that makes sense. I don't know how well they are constructed, but some look pretty nice. The trees are all small, the grass just bakes in the sun, and goes dormant come August. The lots are not as big as ours. Gardens, fruit trees, masonry chimneys, wood stoves and woodpiles are non-existent...just grass, fences, maybe an elaborate 2-3k swing set, and a trampoline here and there. Our kids were born and raised up north with unending woods, a creek, abundant wildlife, a good dog, and a large gardens to play in with us.

Feel better soon. It’s gonna get slippery so stay inside if you can. This storm is supposed to turn to rain near the end, but the temps will still be well below 32° so I guess it’ll be wet heavy snow and freezing rain. Hang in there.

Snowing, but it is 11F here. Small flakes. Last forecast was for 6-9 in. I won't be going outside. Son filled the stove so we are all set for the night. Big thing is to keep the humidifiers filled. Humidity is 35-24% inside. Wife will get another machine tomorrow at Sam's Club. I have water in my Bipap for sleeping. It will be empty by morning.

Woke up feeling better this morning and I am hungry. I think I just slept through the last two days. We had so much rain last night that I think our snow is pretty well gone. Quite warm here now. Still blowing out though.

Football and curling to watch so I won't be too energetic today.
