Official bedtime is 8P. I sleep well if I worked on firewood during the day. Husband and cat get me up by 5A at the latest. They both want breakfast!

I can be both depending on what’s going on. When I have insomnia, it’s definitely both. Spent 3 straight weeks averaging 4-4.5 hours a night.

Used to be: up by 5am if not earlier and bed by 9pm. Been slipping a bit lately. Up by 6:30 am and bed by 11pm.

    Night owl.

The world is quieter at night.
    :)

In bed around midnight most days, sometimes 12:30-1 AM.. Up @6:45, out of bed around 7:15, leave for work @ 7:30

Worked second shift all my life till this job.

Hum... Not a night owl nor an early bird. Maybe sort of like a crippled owl? To bed by 7:00 pm and up by 10:00 am. However, that is not sleep time. We like to read so go to bed early to do that as neither of us watches tv, so we read and sometimes we play games. One in particular we found out early in our marriage that we both enjoyed a lot.

Early. Bed is 10 and normally up 5/6. Any later than that means I slept in.

Bed at 10 up at 7 work at 8 done at 2. Sure is nice to be retired, with the hobby of restoring homes to keep me busy. I have worked harder since being retired than when I had a full time job.

I've been all over the board recently. I was clockwork early bird, no alarm needed most my life, but things changed. The other big change? I was a very deep sleeper til I had a child.

    Pure night owl here.

Wish i could do another night time job, not too ideal though with having a now 16 month old boy.
Afraid i'll miss out on too much of his life.

Yes, good call, as the time goes by fast. Seems like just yesterday our youngest was that age, now she is 27, married with our grand daughter, age 10 months.

In retirement I would consider taking a part-time job from 3 or 4 am to Noon or so. Now I work 6am to 3pm most days.

I used to load package cars for UPS during graduate school My shift started at 4am. It was hard work, but I loved that job. Funny thing it paid $9.50 an hour starting wage with full health and dental which was nice for our early marriage while we were both still in school. Our son looked for a job there for his college job a few years ago and and it paid the same amount and no benefits to speak of.
