People seem to think that's what we are getting around here every time the weather folks even mention the possibility of snow. Today they said there was the possibility for a dusting of snow and all kinds of folks hit the grocery stores like usual.
They're calling for 1-3" here and people are going crazy. Can't imagine what it would be like if we got a storm like that. Stay safe
That's some serious snow! It will remind me not to complain as I plow the 6" or so that we're expecting this weekend in NH. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
I can't even fathom that much snow!A couple inches makes folks here go nuts too (me included). I know exactly what would happen here if we got snow like that...people would die. Literally. We cant handle that kind of weather...road clearing capabilities, powerlines and grid, house/building construction etc etc. Hopefully the folks who are affected by that storm were prepared (as much as you can be for that mess) and stay safe.
"The first one is someone’s loving room." ... now see, there's just nuthin wrong with that. Nope... ... besides... can't go anywhere anyway...
Great to see what's going on right there Well Seasoned ... very interesting. It hurts me to admit... ... but that miiiiight be just a little too much snow...
Closest I've ever seen of super deep snow, and had to deal with it, was in the early 70s. I was 16-17 yrs old. Snow had drifted up and over the eve of the farm's el. Made tunnels to get in 2 doors, on that side of the house (top of the drift was 3' above the doors). At my age now... that amount of snow might simmah my snow itch down a few notches... ...
Still in a state of emergency. Plows around today. Will be days before they get cleaned up. A few more pics 1 is wood stacks! Haha 2 downtown(notice the roof of the cars. About 6 ft of snow in the middle of the road) 3 a skidoo has to drive to the hospital. Rumour is it was a pregnant woman and husband 4 is a guy in the road. 20-25 ft snow drift. Madness
