Good morning all! 15° here, with a bit of wind hanging on. Yesterday I got a little splitting done while the sun was out, and before the wind got strong. Today I need to bring in the last of the black birch. After that, I will start pulling from the woodshed ( finally).
Also I'm going to drive down to Cambridge and visit some of the food stores I used to go to. I never have any other reason to go down there anymore. I need bread from Iggy's for croutons, and chicken backs for soup.
Other than that, I'll just keep chucking oak in the stove!
    Have a good day all.

Good morning, brother. You can have that kind of temps...I don't mind a bit of snow though.

Friend of ours that used to live down the road, got married several years ago and moved close to Medina, ND.
She said it's a little to cold there... Screenshot_20200117-064850.png

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Sadly, my days off have ended, got to go work 7PM/7AM. Just cleaned up some shorties and nuggets, filled 2 1/2 drums. Got a total of 14 drums to dry for the coming years in one area and probably 10 or 12 in another area...carried a tractor bucket full up to mama's.
Not much else going on here, cool and breezy.

T.Jeff Veal how is your mom doing. Feel for ya on that work schedule. My ex had a wicked schedule they called it 4h shift. Use to drive me nuts. All 3 shifts in a months time.

I do love my Iggy's bread! And Market Basket (or any other store around here) doesn't sell chicken backs.

She is doing well. Slowly getting around, making her take it easy. She has help during the day, we check on her early morning and nights. So far, so good. I used to work 8 hr shift rotation, 11-7, 3-11, 7-3, 7 days on off 2, 7 on, off 1, 7 on, off 5. Worked that for almost 30 yrs. I now work 12 hr shift, 4 nights, off 3, 3 days, off 1, 3 nights, off 3, 4 days, off 7...have more time off, but some long hrs when you are here. I getting used to it, kinda...lol.
