Snapped another shear pin (same one) on the cottage snow blower today. Dang!

This time, I could not locate the hole while spinning the auger. Thought I had it once or twice, but nope. It doesn't look like the auger has slid over left or right at all either. Gonna give it another shot maybe tomorrow.

Would it be advisable to drill another hole to relocate the shear pin?

Take and push a drift pin in the hole and hold pressure against it as you turn the auger. You should at least be able to locate where it is. Once you find it, you may have to tap with a hammer it to get it out completely

You were correct yooperdave . New fridge needed. The compressor wore out. Not worth replacing that part. The tech cut me a deal of the service charge. Had I bought the starter relay that typically goes out on these compressors, I would've wasted more money on the part alone, than the service fee, and still not had a working fridge.

New fridge gets delivered tomorrow. I had to trim a little drywall and wood from the frame of the cabinets so that the new slightly taller fridge will fit in.

It looks like the delivery crew will install the water line for the ice maker too. If not, I will handle that.

Yup, l spent some time trying that very technique. I did have a very good light source also and still could not detect even the slightest remotest possibility of where it could be...……….. or should be...………. or used to be!

If you go to drill another hole you might find the inner shaft could be hardened and then it really becomes a PITA......................

Yeah, I suppose so. I didn't hear of anyone else doing that at the University (web).

Dang! Gonna have to try once more before I take the stupid thing apart.

Just like I told my son when he asked "why don't you just buy that a c cobra replica? You've wanted one as long as I can remember."

"Son, I've wanted one since the late 70's when I read an article about them. But, if I was to get it now, I'd probably crash and burn myself on the first un-chaperoned drive!"

Sure would be nice, though! If you ever see one coming up your driveway, put the guns away and get a fresh pot of coffee brewing!

Nope, not a drone invasion as has been speculated about the lights in the sky up here and NE Colorado. The Air Force Base denied they had drones out. Guess what it is?
